Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026. This policy covers the PDF Viewer app for Android and this website.
In short: the PDF Viewer app collects no personal information. Your documents are opened, edited and converted on your phone and are never uploaded to us. The app has no accounts, no ads and no analytics.
1. Who we are
PDF Viewer is developed by Kaafisir Technologies and published together with this website under the name FireClashPro (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@fireclashpro.com.
2. The PDF Viewer app
2.1 Information we collect
None. We do not collect, receive, store or share your personal data, device identifiers, location, contacts, usage statistics or crash reports. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics SDKs.
2.2 Your documents and images
Opening, reading, searching, annotating, signing, merging, splitting, compressing, protecting, converting and scanning all happen locally on your device. Files are never sent to our servers or to any third party by the app. Files you create are saved on your device in Documents/PDF Viewer and Pictures/PDF Viewer; you control them and may delete them at any time. When you tap Share or Print, the file is handed to the app or service you choose — their privacy policies then apply.
2.3 Information stored on your device
To work properly the app keeps a small amount of data locally: the list of recently opened files and favorites, your last reading position, bookmarks, folders you added to the gallery, your settings and signatures you chose to save. This data stays on your device and is removed when you clear the app’s data or uninstall it. You can also clear the recent list and the cache inside Settings.
2.4 Permissions
- Files and media / All files access (optional) — used only to find PDF files on your device for the PDF Gallery. You can decline and add folders manually instead.
- Biometric / screen lock (optional) — used only if you turn on App lock. The app never receives your fingerprint or face data; Android only tells it whether you were verified.
- Network access — PDF Viewer itself does not upload anything. The Android permission may appear in the app’s manifest because it is merged in from Google’s scanner library (see 2.5).
2.5 Document scanner (Google Play services)
The Scan feature uses the Google ML Kit Document Scanner, delivered through Google Play services. Scanning is performed on your device. Google Play services may download the scanner component the first time you use it and is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. Scans are returned to PDF Viewer and are not sent to us.
2.6 Children
PDF Viewer is a general-purpose utility. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
2.7 Security
Because your data stays on your device, it is protected by your device’s own security. PDF password protection uses standard PDF encryption. Passwords you set cannot be recovered by us or by the app.
3. This website
This website is a static information site. It uses no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies.
- Theme preference: your choice of light or dark theme is stored in your browser’s local storage (key
pdfv-theme) so the site remembers it. It never leaves your browser. - Bug-report form: if you send a report we receive the details you type (e-mail address, optional name, phone model, Android and app version, description, steps and an optional attachment) plus your IP address and browser user-agent for abuse prevention. We use them only to investigate and reply to your report. A technical session cookie is used to protect the form against forgery and is deleted when you close the browser.
- E-mail: if you write to support@fireclashpro.com we keep the correspondence as long as needed to help you.
- Server logs: our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and troubleshooting.
Reports and e-mails are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. We never sell your information or use it for marketing.
4. Your choices and rights
Because the app collects no personal data there is nothing for us to access or delete about your use of it. For data you sent through the website or by e-mail you may ask us to access, correct or delete it by writing to support@fireclashpro.com.
5. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes to the app’s data practices will be described in its Google Play listing.
