Terms of Use

1. The service

PDF Viewer (the “App”) is a PDF reader and editor for Android provided by Kaafisir Technologies under the name FireClashPro (“we”, “us”). These terms also apply to this website.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, for lawful personal or business purposes. You may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, rent, sell or redistribute the App, or remove any notices, except where the law or the licences of the open-source components we use expressly allow it.

3. Your content

You keep all rights in your documents, images and signatures. The App processes them on your device; we do not receive them. You are responsible for having the right to open, edit, copy, scan or share the files you use and for complying with applicable laws, including copyright and privacy laws.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to infringe the rights of others, to create or alter documents in order to deceive or defraud, to bypass protection on files you are not authorised to open, or to violate any law. Signatures and edits made with the App may not be legally binding in every country or for every kind of document; check the requirements that apply to you.

5. Passwords and data loss

Passwords you set on a PDF cannot be recovered. Keep passwords and important documents backed up. The App works on copies when you edit, but you should always keep your own backups.

6. Third-party components

The App includes open-source software (for example PDFium, PdfBox-Android, AndroidX and Jetpack Compose) and uses Google Play services for the document scanner. Those components are provided under their own licences and terms, which are listed in the App under Settings → About.

7. Updates and availability

We may update, change or discontinue features at any time. The App is distributed through Google Play and is subject to Google Play’s terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App and website are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that every PDF will open or render perfectly or that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the App or website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Intellectual property

The App, its design, name and logo belong to us. Google Play and Android are trademarks of Google LLC; PDF is a trademark of its respective owner. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country say otherwise.
